Intimate old-fashioned hotel, worth its 3 stars. The breakfasts with lovely home made brown bread. Easy going and excellent staff, free wake up service and ironing. The location unbeatable and excellent nearest to the garden. And short walk to nightlife or other attractions, beautiful grounds and the pub.

The outdoor marquee and benches create a lovely atmosphere, perfect for a meal outdoors. The food was hot, tasty, and beautifully presented-comparable to what you'd expect from a great restaurant, and the prices were quite reasonable.
The breakfast left a lot to be desired. It reminded me of a quick afterthought with just a kettle, a packaged loaf, and limited options like cornflakes. My room also had noticeable issues-the carpet wasn't in great shape, and the heater had to be managed remotely, leading to an uncomfortable night when it was turned off unexpectedly.

The hotel is situated in a fine location, just a 15-minute walk away. The outdoor garden area provided a cozy ambiance. The meals were not only hearty but beautifully presented, and they offered plenty of choices at breakfast.
The hotel could benefit from some modern updates as it felt a bit dated in certain areas.

The beds were super comfy, and the homemade apple pie was a must-try! I loved relaxing in the garden area and watching the live music in the evening. The parking could be a bit tight, but it didn’t ruin the great vibe. 😊

This place has a lovely cozy feel, and the food is AMAZING! We had a huge breakfast spread, and trust me, it's probably one of the best breakfast choices I have ever seen. The owner is really helpful and even gave me tips on some great hiking trails nearby.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but still acceptable for the quality you get.
